Last updated: October 2026. These terms are written in plain language because legal and immigration users deserve to know exactly where they stand.

1. What Nimly is

Nimly (nimly.live) is a paid marketplace for 1-on-1 calls with independent experts and ticketed live rooms: immigration consultants, tutors, lawyers, career and business coaches, streamers, and gamers. Experts and hosts are independent, not employees of Nimly. Advice given on a call is the expert's own professional opinion. Everything on Nimly is paid; the only free thing is claiming a username of five or more characters.

2. Calls, fees and payments

You pick an expert, choose a 30-minute slot, and pay the stated price plus a GH₵4 connection fee with MTN MoMo, Telecel Cash, or AT Money through our licensed payment processor. Nimly never sees your MoMo PIN or card details; payment happens inside the processor's checkout.

Your payment is held until the call happens. The expert is paid their share after the call: 98% of their price. Nimly keeps 2% plus the connection fee.

3. Live rooms and tickets

Hosts pay a room fee upfront based on duration (GH₵110 for 30 minutes up to GH₵440 for 2 hours, 50 viewers max). Viewers buy tickets (minimum GH₵2, set by the host) with just a phone number and MoMo — no account needed. You join muted; the host can bring you on stage.

Rooms close automatically at the chosen duration with a 5-minute warning. Tickets are not refundable once the room goes live. If the host cancels before going live, ticket holders are refunded in full. The host keeps 98% of ticket revenue, paid in a manual batch.

4. Gifts and usernames

Gifts (GH₵5, GH₵10, GH₵20, GH₵50) go to the expert's earnings; they keep 98%, paid in a manual batch. Usernames of five or more characters are free to claim; 1–4 character names are premium (GH₵50 to GH₵500), one-time payment, yours forever. Premium names are non-refundable once assigned.

5. No-shows and refunds

If the expert doesn't show up, you get a full, automatic refund. A no-show expert is never paid.

If you miss your call, the expert keeps half the call price as a cancellation fee and the rest is refunded to you.

If a call drops early or the quality is bad, report it within 24 hours. We investigate and make it right, usually a rebooking or a refund.

6. Call and room privacy

Calls and rooms run in your browser and are never recorded. Every session has a privacy shield (watermark, copy protection) on by default. Disputes are settled using metadata (duration, who hung up, report history), never transcripts. See our Privacy Policy.

7. Fair use

Experts must be who they claim to be and must hold the credentials for their category. The following get an account removed on first confirmed offense: guaranteed outcomes ("guaranteed visa", "sure winning"), unlicensed medical diagnosis or treatment advice, and moving payment off Nimly to dodge the fee.

Reviews can only come from completed, paid calls. Three reports from three different callers suspends an expert pending human review. Hosts are responsible for what happens in their rooms.

8. Liability

Nimly provides the marketplace and the connection. We do our best to verify experts, but the advice itself is between you and the expert. To the extent the law allows, Nimly's liability for any single call is limited to the price you paid for that call, and for any room to the ticket price you paid.
